Wilson Tran

The world’s most beautiful footage isn’t worth its weight in gigabytes unless it’s edited with precision, care and intention. This is what Wilson strives for with every project and one of many reasons that he has become the backbone of Beyond Content’s post production, from narrative-driven editing to world-class colour grading and everything in between.

In 2019, Wilson edited a documentary ‘25zero’ which was nominated for several awards and winning the ‘Environmental Award’ at the British Documentary Film Festival. It has screened in several festivals across Australia and internationally at the British Museum.

During his free time, Wilson enjoys giving back to the film school that helped him break into the industry and teaches students the fundamentals of editing at the new AIE offices where the MAPS program has been incorporated.
