Minelab // Aussie Gold Hunters // TVC

Striking gold in the harshest landscape on the oldest continent ain’t easy… unless you have the best detector in the market.

Minelab Technology sponsor the Discovery Channel show, Aussie Gold Hunters, and so they decided to create a TVC campaign to augment their sponsorship. The Ad was designed to look and feel like a trailer for Aussie Gold Hunters, but with a twist… it was meant to demonstrate how new GPX6000 – their flagship new detector was so easy to use that anybody could strike gold.

We opted to flip the reality TV show trope on its head and so cast kids as the heros, demonstrating that now, thanks to the GPX 6000, anybody can be the next Aussie Gold Hunter.
